He is very inspiring, and had the right motives. He knew the current society to be unfair. That the kings and princes were wealthy and powerful, but everyone else was dust and had no worth. Realizing that this was not a safe position to be in, and that at any moment everything they had could be taken away, he started the call to arms inspiring men to stand up and fight for what they rightfully deserved.

I see that you easily grasp that Catiline claimed to have good intentions. But what of his rhetorical devices? What, if any, did he employ to attempt to carry his point(s) with his audience?
